In our real, daily lives, we are somewhat engaged in a game of spiritual Battleship with the devil—he’s looking to find our moral weaknesses and to ultimately sink and destroy our hearts. When we choose to fight sin and do the right thing, the enemy “misses” our battleship, and we can claim victory over the devil.
